E3 2018: Weekend Collector’s Edition News Summary

With E3 2018 in full swing, new Collector’s Editions are being announced left and right. Here is a quick summary of this weekends announcements.

Bethesda’s Fallout 76 will be releasing the “Power Armor Edition” which comes with a set of special artifacts for fans of the Fallout series. The main centerpiece of this Collector’s will be a working T-51 helmet, the model that serves as the iconic wear of the Brotherhood of Steel, which includes a functional headlamp and voice modulation device. Furthermore, there will also be some figurines that can be placed on an included glow-in-the-dark map, an exclusive steelcase, and a canvas west tek duffel bag. Based on the response of Fallout 4’s Pip Boy edition from 2015 this may be a collector’s to go ahead and pre-order as soon as its available. Fallout 76 is coming November 14 for Playstation, Windows PC, and Xbox One.

Bethesda’s Rage 2 will not be releasing until 2019, but the company has already detailed the $119.99 game’s collector’s edition set. The showcase of this collector’s will be a talking Ruckus the Crusher’s head on a mantel to be adorned in your apartment. Along with this very creepy talking head there will be a steelbook, monster truck, poster, BFG, exlusive mission, weapon and armor packs, “Wasteland Wizard” cheat codes, and deluxe edition content. Bethesda has already put the collector’s edition up for pre-order now but I would probably hold off on tossing in your money just yet since it is so far out. Rage 2 will come to Playstation 4, Windows Pc, and Xbox One next year.
